Daily Devotional

February 1

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36).

Don’t aspire to acquire the world’s success at the expense of your peace, happiness and spiritual health. True and lasting success springs from a prosperous soul.

February 2

“He restoreth my soul…” (Psalm 23:3).

When you become born again, God restores your mind, will and emotions. Your soul now has the potential to come into perfect alignment with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

February 3

“And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” (Matthew 14:31).

Doubt destroys faith. When you are going through challenging times, don’t doubt God’s ability to come through for you. Instead, trust Him and He will make a way.

February 4

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19).

You have been given authority by God to bind demonic forces that come against you and loose the angels of God to work on your behalf. Use your authority every day by speaking the Word of God.

February 5

“And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power” (Luke 4:32).

Everything Jesus said was infused with burden-removing, yoke-destroying power. You have the same ability to release power when you speak.

February 6

“But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God and keep it” (Luke 11:28).

When you hear the Word of God, you are empowered to have success in every arena of your life. Hold on to the Word you hear so that your life can bear fruit that glorifies God.

February 7

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).

Jesus existed before the foundation of the world. He is the living Word of God.

February 8

“…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8).

Jesus came to loose you from the bondage of sin and eradicate the power of Satan. When you accept Him as your Lord and Savior, the same power He walked in resides in you.

February 9

“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory…” (Ephesians 1:11, 12).

God has predestined every person to have access to redemption through Jesus Christ, which includes eternal salvation as well as wholeness, deliverance and prosperity on Earth. It is His will for all people to come into the knowledge of His love.

February 10

“The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him” (Psalm 28:7, The Amplified Bible).

You can rejoice because God is your strength. You don’t have to try to make it through difficult situations by yourself. Trust God and He will support you.

February 11

“…for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work” (Ecclesiastes 3:17).

Don’t be impatient. When God has called you to do something, it will happen in the right season and in His divine timing.

February 12

“The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned” (Isaiah 50:4).

God wants to speak to your heart every day. When you take the time to hear from Him, He will give you a specific word that, when spoken in faith, will change your life.

February 13

“Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me” (Psalm 119:133).

When you abide in God’s Word, your steps will be ordered and you will stay on the right path for your life. The key to avoiding the traps of the enemy as you go through life is to make God’s Word your final authority.

February 14

“Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee…” (Psalm 84:5).

You are empowered to prosper in life when you allow God to be the source of your strength.

February 15

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).

You bring glory to God when you allow the light of His love to flow through you as you do good works. In this way, others will see Him reflected in your life.

February 16

“For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation”

God is the source of a sound mind. When confusion is all around you, wait on Him for wisdom on how to proceed.

February 17

“He who gains Wisdom loves his own life; he who keeps understanding shall prosper and find good” (Proverbs 19:8, AMP).

The Word of God will give you the wisdom you need to have success and total-life prosperity.

February 18

“Sow for yourselves according to righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God); reap according to mercy and loving-kindness…” (Hosea 10:12, AMP).

When you sow the right seeds, you will reap a corresponding harvest. God wants to bless you so begin blessing Him by showing love, compassion and mercy toward others. You will reap a harvest of the same.

February 19

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

Jesus is the only way to gain access to Heaven and the Father. You must accept Him as your Lord and Savior in order to experience the blessings of God.

February 20

“O Lord my God, in You I take refuge and put my trust; save me from all those who pursue and persecute me, and deliver me” (Psalm 7:1, AMP).

Call on God when your enemies attack you. He is faithful to deliver you when you trust in Him.

February 21

“Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord” (Psalm 27:14, AMP).

To see the promises of God manifest in your life, don’t allow restlessness and impatience to move you from your faith. You must patiently trust in Him.

February 22

“The wise in heart will accept and obey commandments, but the foolish of lips will fall headlong” (Proverbs 10:8, AMP).

When you are wise, you will listen to God and obey what He says. To do otherwise is foolish and will lead you into trouble.

February 23

“The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord prolongs one’s days, but the years of the wicked shall be made short” (Proverbs 10:27, AMP).

The key to long life is to respect and honor God. Disobedience and turning away from the truths in the Bible will cut your life short.

February 24

“Who were chosen and foreknown by God the Father and consecrated (sanctified, made holy) by the Spirit to be obedient to Jesus Christ (the Messiah)…” (1 Peter 1:2, AMP).

You were chosen by God and set apart by the Holy Spirit so that you could walk in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Release your faith for the supernatural ability to obey His Word and walk in His commandments.

February 25

“For all flesh (mankind) is like grass, and all its glory (honor) like [the] flower of grass. The grass withers and the flower drops off, But the Word of the Lord (divine instruction, the Gospel) endures forever. And this Word is the good news which was preached to you” (1 Peter 1:24, 25, AMP).

The Word of God is the only thing that will last for eternity. Man and everything pertaining to this natural realm will pass away. But God’s Word stands forever!

February 26

“Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not” (Romans 12:14).

God wants you to bless and not curse those who come against you. Walking in love toward your enemies releases His power to work on your behalf.

February 27

“…These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth…” (Revelation 3:7).

When God opens a door for you, nothing and no one can shut it. And when He closes a door, no man can open it. Go through the doors of opportunity that He prepares for you without fear. Trust Him for a prosperous outcome.

February 28

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5).

When negative thoughts come to your mind, cast them down by immediately speaking the Word of God. This is the only way to capture thoughts and keep your thinking in line with the Word of God.
